Go Steelers!!!
It just sucked that I was a Seahawk field goal or Steeler TD away from $500...

I was amazed at how bad the Stones were. Just amazed. You'd think for a show like that, they MIGHT wanna play somewhat correctly, but at least there was no doubt they were live.
Happy for the Steelers!

The Stones did have a bad night. In fact they appeared to be supremely bored with the fact they were on TV more than halfway around the world. They mucked up every song they played in every way imaginable. Sloppy intros, sloppy lyrics, sloppy singing, sloppy leads, sloppy endings and an overall less than desirable sound mix. Did I say sloppy enough? LOL
No kidding, apart from the magnificent stage layout and solid drumming of Charlie Watts they were just mere shadows of their usual selves.
I am sure that Mick will not be happy when he views the tape of their performance.

It was nice, for the second year in a row, to see a Super Bowl halftime act that didn't lip-sync.
I enjoyed Paul McCartney a little more last year, but both he and the Stones were much better than other recent years.
With the one exception of the No Doubt / Sting set, there's been a lot of lip-syncing in previous years. A lot of bad short-life pop acts with no real musicians and no soul.
Agreed, the Stones weren't stellar, but I still really enjoyed it.

what? the stones sounded like they have sounded live for 40 years. no one should have been shocked to hear them without the studio production tricks.

I eagerly awaited the presentation of MVP to the officials! Man, what a horrible game! Did anyone else notice that the whole first half they showed nothing but Steelers holding the trophy. Not that I'm into the whole conspiracy thing, but it looked just a little suspect, like the NFL "Really" needed to have the Bus go out on top!

The best part of the Super Bowl was the commercials, IMO.... And the food, LOL!

I think Mrs. Kilpatrick has her eye on a new Navigator, Ken.
