I just picked up my Bass Pod xt live from West La Music. I was 10 minutes late due to work and had to bang on the door. I had called earlier and knew it was there and could see it behind the counter. I have been waiting two weeks and I live half way between the store and Line6!!!! They finally let me in and let me take possession, as it was already paid for. I will let you know how I do with it on Sunday. I'll get those Presbyterians to rock yet!

Bob, that's the same feeling I had when I got mine......except I "discovered" it sooner but was too cheap to buy it.

Of course I'm late on this thread, but I do love my Fulltone Bassdrive. Get an 18v adapter - HUGE difference.

You guys where right about this pedal. It's amazing how it makes your tone so much better, and the settings are so easy to use.

Much more headroom - bigger sound. I just got the 18v adapter, because what I really wanted to check out was how it worked with my G&L ASAT. That's the only active bass I own, & those p/u's are so hot they tend to overwhelm my stompboxes. So far I've only messed around with it at "wife approved home volumes" through my B100, but I'm looking forward to running it full bore through the stack at the practice space.
As for the initial home experiments I played my 4003 & the ASAT & it just seems bigger with more breathing room. My fave toggle switch setting is the "vintage" one, but you know how that one is kind of compressed? It seemed to open that setting up a bit (at least to my ears). I actually emailed Mike Fuller & he says that the pedals are specifically designed for 18v use. There's a section regarding it on the Fulltone website.
Hell, it still sounds great at 9 volts though!

Told you you'd love it. If anything happened to mine, I'd buy another in a second!
Yeah, on the FullTone website, there's a big section that talks about how the Bass Drive was made specifically to handle a variety of voltages, and you can go up to 18V without damaging it at all. I'll have to try that sometime . . . I've only got a 9V adaptor.
