After a discussion about English food with my boss, who's a Brit, I'm not sure I'd want to eat any of it but thought these would make great band names: Lancashire Hotpot, Hamburger Supperloaf, Yorkshire Puddings and Toad in the Hole
Kind of takes Humble Pie to a whole new level.

That site reminds me of the random complaint letter website:
http://www.pakin.org/complaint
My complaint about Dr. Who
Because many of the things I'm about to say regarding Dr. Who have already been beaten into the ground, I will try to keep this letter short. It is worth noting at the outset that Dr. Who's money-grubbing declamations make a mockery of the term "anticonfederationist". Dr. Who then blames us for that. Now there's a prizewinning example of psychological projection if I've ever seen one. Although the falsehood of the tongue leads to that of the heart, Dr. Who's ability to capitalize on the economic chaos, racial tensions, and social discontent of the current historical moment can be explained, in large part, by the following. I always catch hell whenever I say something like that, so let me assure you that as a dynamic historical current, cannibalism has taken many different forms and has evolved dramatically in some ways. I'll probably devote a separate letter to that topic alone, but for now, I'll simply summarize by stating that Dr. Who's most progressive idea is to vilify our history, character, values, and traditions. If that sounds progressive to you, you must be facing the wrong way. Our national media is controlled by dodgy authoritarianism enthusiasts. That's why you probably haven't heard that if we take Dr. Who's jokes to their logical conclusion, we see that as soon as our backs are turned, Dr. Who will wage a clandestine guerilla war against many basic human rights.

YES! I agree! Dr. Who is to blame for all of our misfortunes!
Dr. Who's stealing our jobs!
Dr.Who's marrying our daughters!
Dr. Who's importing all that time-displaced trashy merchandise & putting all of our trained workers out to find jobs at MacDonald's in some other galaxy!
Oh yeah! And cannibalism! What's up with that?

Down here in Melbourne, Darren Trott and I both live very near a suburb called Mentone, whilst Howard Bishop lives near a suburb known as
Glen Waverley. Back in the 80's an enterprising fella had a band called..you guessed it...
"Glen Waverley and the Mentones"

Well... our old band had a name which you could translate into English as "The kitten kicked the bucket"... very politely, since the "right" translation won't be the one you'd mention in public... oh well, 'twas a punk band anyway...

And all this time I thought that was an urban myth, Greg.... so they did actually exist?
Beats the hell out of "Jock Strapp and his Elastic Band"!!
I was in a band with a bunch of school mates called "The Boldfingers" - guess what was on the front of the bass drum!

Here's an actual advertised name we used when throwing a somewhat part-time band together from members of 3 different bands:
"Drew & the Four Skins"
S'truth!
At least his name wasn't Richard!

This thread is hilarious! I think I'll be laughing all morning.....
There is a local band in my neck of the woods called "The Disposable Waste Band." They play a mix of jazz and Minnesota folk.
