Stephen, is that Jetglo gutar a 450 with a black pickguard?
That's right. According to the serial number decoder on the Rickenbacker site, it was manufactured in 1955, but as I understand it, the wave-shaped horn didn't begin manufacture until 1958, so I'm left in the dark.
It was originally a basic wood color, painted black many years ago. I'm thinking of stripping the paint.
I can post a better picture, but this might not be the place. Perhaps another thread?
