Yeah, I can duplicate it. Bill's 365 has two coats of amber-tinted CV and 8 coats of clear CV on top of that, so the binding you see is slightly ambered.

Yellowed binding on Ricks=yellowed CV. Some older ones have yellowed celluloid, too.

Wow! Am I excited or what. I am thrilled that the response for Azureglo is positive. I was asking for opinions last week because truthfully, I was unfamiliar with it. I am thrilled with the results so far and the response has been upbeat and encouraging. Paul suggested it Azureglo when I was questioning Jetglo, John Williams agreed and Paul persistence gave me peace-of-mind. Point is, I went with his suggestion because I respect his knowledge and experience so much.

I think this is going to be rare combination '69 OS in Azureglo. I have seen two '68 standard 360 12-strings (Steve Lee's and one other).

MORE PICS PAUL!!!!!!

I can vouch for Paul's touch with a spray gun - the finish on my BronzeGlo 4003 is flawless.

Geez, guys...

This one was a pleasure from start to finish, an altogether satisfying project. I love this color! It is so deep and rich and distinctive.

It looks really terrific with the white guards that I made, and the slightly ambered binding sets the whole thing off perfectly.

Paul - simply outstanding work. To repeat what has already been said. Don't simply take a pass on a distressed Ric without considering what a transformation would look like. It has been clearly proven that in the right hands a sows ear can be turned into a silk purse.

Visually stunning, indeed - but jeez, no vintage knobs ?? Tony Carey would be horrified !! Should be a standard color.

AZ is a standard Rick color, from late '68...

Those are the knobs it came with.

Holy Smoke, that takes my breath away. Fabulous.

The knobs on the guitar are correct for a '68.

That guitar is a screamer.

Oh, Steve-O I just realized what you meant by your enigmatic cmment.

You are saying that AZ should be a standard color NOW.

I couldn't agree more.

The knobs may be correct John, but that doesn't make them right (if you know what I mean)! Image Beautiful gtr, but vintage knobs would just finish it off perfectly.....
