After a long run with an EMG double coil, and much recent experimentation with various combinations of Ric pups, it finally came down to the obvious - a set of early 90s horseshoe and toaster pups! This is "the one" for me. 1989 4003S with a Hipshot bridge, mirrored PG, 4004L TRC, and vintage knobs.

Awesome collection of horses from all you guys, Jared and Dave...have you two ever considered seeking professional help? Just kidding, by the way how do you hang a guitar on the wall like that, that's just too cool. Can my horse join your group?

Or that a swap for any style treble pickup is required as they do with TRCs (I'm hoping).

Yep Jon, that's still the ultimate BG. Prettier than the later "redder" version. Not that there's any flies on that color. Just makes me sick for my '69 BG even more. *sniff*....
