Brad -- I thought that is what I was doing, testifying!
Dave -- I remember looking for this when this conversation first came up, but I couldn't ever find it! And I must say I'm pretty surprised more people weren't even aware of this. Of course, when I first saw the change (which I'm pretty sure came sometime in '73) I didn't know about horseshoes at all, just that they had changed from metal to plastic.
Peter -- I admire your steely determination to include a pun with every post!
