Seems that I heard that Squire mostly used his Green Mouradian bass on the "KEYS" Studio stuff. In fact, I believe that Jim Mouradian himself told me that, if I remember correctly...

Slight correction, *Mouradians*

Plural here: You're forgetting his favourite Mouradian bass, his "Reality"...

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks Drama was a good album. I just wish Man in a White Car was a 5 minute piece.

In the Silent video did Chris hit a hash pipe about 1/5 of the way through?? Video is really dark on my LCD.

I also think Drama is a great album, but I'm not crazy for the words to "Into The Lens".

My least favorite Yes song is "Owner Of A Lonely Heart".

And amazingly Owner, along with Roundabout, gets the most airplay.

Love Drama! First time I saw them live, and Tempus Fugit, Machine Messiah and Does it Really Happen still rock me.

The Roundabout single edit fits radio time very well. Most Yes tunes are way too long for singles-oriented radio. With the decreased attention span listeners have now, I'm surprised we haven't gone back to the 2 minute model of the first few Beatles albums.

I too, think Drama is a great album overall, so is Tormato for the most part. I have the Rhino reissue of Tormato which has some nice extra tracks, including some raw recordings with Squire's straight up tone without excessive processing.

I like Drama...although it was odd not having the classic line-up. "Does It Really Happen" might be my favorite song from it, mainly due to the weird rhythmic pulse.

I recently started a new job, and the analyst working below me is a Yes freak. SO I should be able to catch up on all the material I've ignored for the last 20 years soon! Image

I think the Mouradian Sound Research Bass, either the CS-74 or the Reality is the best kept secret in the Bass playing community. They're GREAT (I had one and in a STUPID moment of weakness...sold it. DUMB-DUMB-DUMB)

"I just wish Man in a White Car was a 5 minute piece."

I wrote a short story inspired by that song for part of my high school senior project. It's probably my favorite story I've ever written. I don't think there is anything bad about that whole album, though. I love Jon Anderson to death, but "Drama" doesn't suffer from lack of him. It's just so good.

I need to find the music to "Into the Lens" . . . that would be amazing to play live.
