Messing with the P-bass again.
Anyone remember the old Patrice Rushen song "Forget Me Nots"? Will Smith went on to remake it into "Men in Black" ?
I always liked that funky bass line, and can nail the tone exactly with the B200R.

Im really liking this amp,,but I cant help but wonder what a JBL or an EV premium loudspeaker would sound like in this thing. Is this something to consider or would it ruin the Ampeg mystic ??
Opinions???

I have a brand new 15" Eminence Kappa Pro I never used, how do they stack up??

JBL's are very bright, don't know about the EV's.

Hey Scott, I just saw in your profile that you have a few boxers? Man, we have alot in common. I should have gotten my boxer, Zodie, into the B200R picture I posted.
She's 18 months old now. Our third boxer. We had 2 females that died 2 years ago, at 13 & 14 years old.
BTW, when I got my B200R, there was no manual with it. I wrote to Ampeg and I just got a softcopy today (you can't get it from their site yet). I can send it to you if you want.

Mine was a floor model. No box or manual. They printed me one for the B100R, which is the same as far as controls go.

My MESA came w/EV-I prefer D140's
K140's now...
