Just make sure you'll have enough [enter the suitable noun here]... I mean, laughing too hard sometimes causes...
BTW, a friend of mine once said that inspiration came to him only in the WC... he wrote his best songs there!

...headache, of course. At least, i have a terrible headache from this thread, but it's a good kind of, of course...Image
Oh btw... does the plane make a stop in Moscow for re-fuelling etc? No? Unfair...

Never mind...

Guillotine? "Once and forever"? Yep. I know. Very efficient.

Paul. That remedy does not work. I think that it's an old wives tale.

Sheena, your remedy is a bit drastic n'est pa?

Hmmm... perhaps, Brian, perhaps, but it's 100% efficient, n'est-ce pas?Image
(what's that "old wives tale"?!)
The other possible cure, i was told, is a good spank on below-the-back...
Sorry for going too far off topic, but to be true, it is a problem for me - my intracranial pressure is too high, regular remedies aren't really helpful, and stronger medicines, like Tylenol, for instance, are illegal here...

"N'est ce pas" that's correct. That's what happens when you post on the fly.

You'll have to ask Paul about his particular remedy. Tylenol is illegal? Yikes. So what remedies are available? Besides the guillotine.

Analgin and Citramon (not sure how the latter is called in English, but it's the most popular one and not that bad if we don't take "side effects" into account - i mean drowse). Good sleep. A glass of wine/beer. And a nice conversation, of course Image I think i finally got which remedy Paul meant - yes, it's very helpful if i didn't get his drift wrong...

Thanks for the info, Gary... that's exactly the kind of info my parents (both chemists) were providing when i was asking a typical kid's question back in the 80s... no offence meant, of course - just memories...Image
BTW, what's Panadol/Tylenol? Paracetamol/codeine, or am i wrong? IIRC, the latter is considered to be narcotic here, so any combination of it & anything else is illegal...

Thanks Doc, you are definitely a fountain of knowledge. Even though we have strayed off topic (strange how that happens) the information you provided was very informative.

So........how is an Accent vibrato to use , stay in tune ? Maybe Anthony can answer this.......the rest of you.....just carry on..Image

Barry, I'm a big fan of the Accent. As long as your stretch your strings when you put 'em on, you shouldn't have a problem with tuning.

As I understand it from the may posts over my time here on the subject, there are really no issues with the Accent if it's installed properly.

Thanks for bringing the thread back on track - all the talk about headaches was starting to give me one! Image

Sheena: I hope that your problem is not an ongoing one. Luckily I rarely suffer from them.

The Accent vibrato is great--my 1967 365 has one, and I like it a lot.... compared to a Bigsby it is subtle, but it adds a very nice, lovely effect to some songs, and the guitar pretty much stays in tune, too.
