I went to Moscow State University - for free! Actually, it was me who was "paid" - i was on burse; no big money, and, thinking back, not a profitable "investment" for 'em...

I thought Haaaaaaaaaaaaaarvard prices its tuition according to your ability to pay?
Had two friends send their girls there, one an MD, the other not-so-well-off. One got in "free".
Since I went to Haaaaaaaaaavard-only to buy a sweatshirt-I wouldn't know.

Lucky. I am paying (read: my parents are paying) $40k to send me to Oberlin. Then again, I get to take out a humongous number of student loans that will be dumped on me when I graduate, rather than on them.
About Harvard changing tuition depending on your ability to pay . . . I dunno about that, but I know that a large number of schools have supposedly need-blind admissions and many will guarantee a very large amount of money in financial aid, if not full-tuition. I have a couple of friends who are at Oberlin who have taken out the maximum in loans, and then the remaining half of the tuition, room and board is covered by the school, as a grant. And it wasn't some special scholarship.

Bobcat - I've heard of Oberlin. My oldest daughter had a chance to play volleyball for Oberlin. She chose Gannon U. in Erie instead.

On the other hand my 19 year old son is at Newcastle University. That is costing me £30,000+ for the three year course in total (Beer, tuition fees, beer, accommodation, beer, pizzas, beer, concerts, beer, food...)

But they are not so close to the source of Iron City, Coors, Stroh's, or Labatt Blue, my personal favorite and the official beer of my band.

Good choice, along with Guinness, Red Stripe, and a lot of micro-brews including Erie Brewing Co.'s Railbender Ale! JPS, next time you play Erie, try one. Their Mad Anthony Ale and Presque Isle Pilsner are pretty good also, in that order.

Blue & Keiths are pretty well tied for popularity locally.
I like Guinness on a hot afternoon! Not really much of a beer drinker really.
I went through phases. Southern Comfort, vodka, Jack, now it's brandy, but only occasionally.
