The Inca Grill is great if you're of the Peruvian persuasion foodwise. I go there sometimes for lunch. They are a tad on the slow side though.

Near Rickenbacker? There's a Karl Strauss brewery, a cool jazz lounge at the Chat Noir, and one of our Rick employee's favorite haunts, Memphis Bar over by the Lab. Newport Beach though isn't too far away and I have frequented some pretty crazy joints there too (like Muldoon's) if anyone is headed in that direction.

I can vouch for the Memphis Bar. Good stuff there but a little pricey.

Newport Beach has good stuff but watch traffic. A quick 8 mile jaunt might turn into an hour each way at the wrong time of day (listen to traffic reports about the 55 freeway on 1070 AM).

Ben might be referring to a different place, but there is a place called Mulboon's that has all you can eat shrimp for it's appetizer (and it's great stuff)!

There are also numerous restaurants on Bristol near and in the South Coast Plaza which is not far from Main St. where RIC is located.

Muldoon's is a big Irish pub next to Fashion Island (behind the Big Newport theater).

From Rick HQ to Newport is very accessible via Jamboree or MacArthur if there's traffic, but I've never waited more than a half hour on the 55 to get from the factory to the Triangle Square area near the Costa Mesa/Newport border.

Which reminds me, there's a Yard House at Triangle Square amongst other places.

I sense an Orange County pub crawl in our collective future...

Also, if you have a hankering for a sandwich or a soda, visit our buddy Nate across the street at the Qwik Corner. He's been furnishing Rickenbacker employees with club sandwiches, Red Bulls, chips, and sportstalk for quite a few years now!

If a pub crawl's gonna happen, throw in Skosh Monahan's, Durty Nelly's, and the Harp in Costa Mesa and The Alcatraz Brewery at the Block in Orange.
