Quicktime just released a new 7.13 version, so perhaps that has something to do with it?

RIC has posted a great slideshow of the 75th. Anniversary events on their site: www.Rickenbacker.com

Click on the News tab at the top of the main page. It even has a Hautewerk sountrack!

Just saw the excellent slideshow from the 75th anniversary - enjoyed seeing the Rickenbacker greats (Kantner, Hoffs, etc), but suprised not to see Roger McGuinn. Surely he was invited! Anyone know why he wasn't there?

In a thread on another site it was stated that he doesn't fly anymore. It's a long bus ride from Florida.

Kenny told us that Roger was supposed to play, then out of the blue he received a cryptic email from Roger's wife simply saying "Roger no longer flies".

Maybe no big deal but anyway....
I received an email from Roger M earlier today. He is in Denmark right now and, just like "The Byrds" are supposed to, he was flying from USA to Europe.

I was really hoping to meet him during the RIC 75th Anniversary. Then again, I got the chance to see and talk to some of you guys in this Forum and that was absolutely fantastic.

I hope we can meet again, soon.

Take care

Björn

PS. You are always welcome to visit my NEW Gallery/Models section. There are some very nice photos there!

Just discovered the RIC 75th slideshow yesterday as I was browsing, and was thrilled to see that my Purpleburst 330 made it in there! Image

Did anyone happen to get Kenny & Co. playing 'The Waiting.' I really enjoyed that one, but it was before I had the chance to sit down and hit record, so I don't have it on video.

I think that I got it, I can check when I burn that part. Let me know if you want that as an excerpt.

As a generic update: due to some technical difficulties, I am behind on getting these done, but do plan on starting back on them shortly.

Gary, did you get my email that night? My email has been having trouble, so it might have been zapped into outerspace.
