Actually, side-by-side, my Traynor YBA 200 bass amp literally blew the JC120 away for clean and bright. Even my wife, who isn't a musician in any way, shape or form could clearly hear the difference.

I have a JC-120 and I'm keeping it! Chorus doesn't apply to just 12 strings.... think Pretenders and a Tele!
I use it with my Martin acoustic on occasions, too. Adds a nice dimension to it as long as you don't go overboard. My JC-120 has been modified to allow me to adjust the amount of chorus using the vibrato depth control when in chorus mode.

Quite a few early Who songs are Ric12:
Can't Explain (both rhythm and lead);
Any way, any how, any where; et al.
Even the ones that were on a Ric6 sound great on the 12. In fact, it seems that he was using his 12's a lot live.
