Paul passed on the 4001 in 1964. He received it in 1965.

Yeah, right, in summer of '65, at the end of August. According to John Hall it might have been at Burt Lancaster's home. John Hall and his father Francis Hall gave McCartney the 4001s he saw in NY the year before. So John, Kevin and Brian you're all ok.
I've turned into a kind of Dr. Rickenbackernstein, but I'm looking for hints and help
