DMZ1600U is the catalog number .

My 6000 Dunlop wire is taller than their chart .It is in fact .060 .I have it in my LP .

Refrets do NOT change the tone of a guitar unless your fretwire caused you to actually play on the fretboard and the wire was under .020 tall ,like Gibson fretless wonder frets.

It only makes it play differently .

Why have so many guitar makers changed to wider /taller frets ? Because playing styles changed .

The culprits that did this ? Jeff Beck,Larry Carlton,Eric Clapton ,Jimmy Page,Gary Moore,James Burton,Albert Lee,Jeff Baxter and Denny Dias just to name a few .These upstarts started playing in a manner that caused the rest of us players to say.............how the hell do you do that?

other wise we would all still be at camp playing first position chords.
