By the way...$775.00 is a smokin' hot deal on a Ruby 4003S! Did anybody here get that one?

I'm sure there was somebody here that was coveting my Ruby 4003S. One of our European members, I think. I think he was calling it his "dream bass!" So I guess he was on vacation or something?!

It still has 3 days to go. I suspect it will go for more.

Oops! I'm a stooge! I thought the auction had ended.

Carry on then...There's nothing to see here!

Jeff, SHHH! There are several of us eyeing this one, I suspect.

So my 4001CS has woodfiller on the fretboard? I'm shocked.

Congrats, Mike. You can't go wrong with a Ruby S! And I think I paid around $100 more for mine 3 or 4 years ago!

Sorry to those who I might of sniped on this one. I've been GAS'in for an S and ruby is my favorite RIC color. This will be a nice match for the "vintage" ruby 4003 Paul is building for me. I guess next thing is to find a turquoise "S" like Jeff's.

Would that be a ruby with checkered binding and f/w inlays? Sounds cool Mike!
