Beside my 2003 FG 4003 I have the following basses: Epiphone Flying V (for the fun and looks), A steve harris P bass, a Status Graphite Energy 5, A Catalyst Tigris Bass and an old P/J bass which needs a new neck. The latter is getting a J neck instead of the P neck and the fingerboard has to be maple...

All are different, but I like my Ric most. Mostly for rehearsel and gigging I take the Status, as it is the cheapest good sounding/playing bass. I rehearse after working time, so the bass has to stay in the trunk of my car all day, and the Status got a Graphite neck that doesn't fear cold heat and humidity. I wouldn't do that with my Ric, and sometimes I take the ric for gigging, never for rehearsel.

4000, two 4001's and a 4004LK.

I have all the sounds I want. If it can't be played on one of those, I'm not playing it.

There, I said it :-)

"There aren't any Hofners in Vancouver, BC," -- David, I am from Winnipeg, and a few months ago I saw a Hofner in a Quest Musique, so it is definitely worth checking out.

I'm still looking for a nice long scale Series 1 Alembic, something a little different, or most preferably a fretless.
