Calm down Christopher....He's good but he ain't THAT good. Maybe you should practice a little more and you might "get it". Some people play for years and never get it.
My apologies Francesco if offended...No offense intended at all.

I used to play the My Generation solo with my fingers. Now I do good to play it with a pick. Dosen't time and a lack of practice on certain things do wonders?

I ain't that good too, but I am a proud owner of a FG 4003. Play mostly pop and rock songs and feel happy in what I do. I ain't Chris, Geddy, etc but just a working guy playing bass in his spare time... Yep that's me!

Francesco:
Great Job. I've loved your videos. I especially loved your rendition of Something. That 4001v63 is gorgeous.
I have a request. I know that "Silly Love Songs" is a pretty lame tune, but I just love the bass line - which I'm having a difficult time figuring out. Do you play that tune? Would you consider uploading it on YouTube?

I particularly liked Message in a Bottle.
Great job, especially the ending.

I was thinking of filming a couple of macca-solo stuff, maybe Silly love songs, Another day, Pipes of peace...
Kevin, the drummer (my brother) sings Message In A Bottle....in the same key as Sting, not bad, huh?

Not an easy feat! The backing vocals sounded excellent as well. A really nice job.
Keep rockin'!

Francesco, I recently watched your Youtube renditions of the Beatles' songs on bass, and I was very impressed with your performances. It was a revelation to hear the 1966 and 1967 Beatles songs with the bass guitar up front, because some of McCartney's best work was hidden in the mix. I never realized that Paperback Writer was so busy during the verses. The same goes for some of the breaks in Rain. Perhaps in the future you could post a performance of With a Little Help from My Friends, which is my all-time fave Macca bass song. Pete Townshend once complained about the Beatles backing tracks sounding "lousy", but I think that had more to do with the mixing than their performance abilities. I now realize that Macca could hold his own against the Ox in the mid-1960's. The right equipment and mixing can sometimes make a difference in the perception of how groups sound. I would be curious about the clarity of the Beatles' sound if they used Marshall instead of Vox back then.
