Andrew, those are some sharp basses! I can't get enough of the dot neck S styles... How about some history on the emerald green burst. Is that a factory original?

I've been kicking around slimming my V63 down too. Are you doing front to back, the width, or both?
I love the white, but the maple on mine is too nice.

Jim, it's not a factory finish. It was refinished sometime in the 70's in the UK. If you like green (I do..) then it's a great looking bass. It has a 4 piece body, which you don't see very often and the upper horn has been shaped, but, overall, a very cool example of a 60's Ric bass.

Teeder, I agree. You shouldn't really cover wood that good. The 67 S I have will stay MG for the same reason.
