No more teasers here...we're in completion mode.
Here are some photos of Richard's 730SLH when I was filling the rosewood grain, sanding the body smooth, and fitting the fretboard binding. Following this, the entire guitar was sprayed with a couple of coats of sealer, sanding between coats.
The color of the rosewood sides and back is kind of a dull purplish-brown while all of this is going on. Then, after sealer penetrates the wood cells, BANG!
All of a sudden, the rosewood starts showing its true colors.
Following the sealing and another light sanding step, the entire top and neck of the guitar were masked off (binding too) and the sides and back were shaded with a darker transparent brown color. The final shots are of the body after the shading was completed and masking pulled off.

Richard, I'm completely keyless!!!!!!!
Amazing, Paul! THIS is the kind of stuff that needs to get put on the web site, so you won't have to keep using Foto#uckit to store your image files. Maybe I could just start putting stuff like this up there for you, in a haphazard but organic fashion, until you have time for a more artistic layout of your own in which to arrange the Projects?

Elys, go right ahead. And I think we should have a phone conversation re: the website's features and how to access them?
For instance:
I have a few pages finished and ready...do I just FTP them or???
Also, Elys, I can give you access to all my Photobucket files; there are about 30-40 projects up there right now, though all are not complete.
Anyway, do call me--tomorrow's a good day, otherwise Monday during office hours is fine.
Andy, yours is closer than you think. Lip zipped for right now.
