Tough choice...hmmm...

Gary Clausson's all black 4003S/5
But then again, there's Gary Clausson's 4002

Then there is Erik Kutzler's eight stringer, something I could use right now!

Also John Hall's Shadow.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

There are plenty of JG v63s out there but the first I saw was Mellisa B's two in one band, how about that. Of the three I played at the Midwest confluence, I liked Ted's the best. I liked somebody's idea of a V63 bright white refin, but I haven't seen one yet. Wints or Clauson, no need to show your whiteys at this time ;D

Let's see V63s confirmed produced in:
JG
MG
FG
sea green
any other customs?

Is that thing even strung? IIRC it has some serious neck issues, but there is the possibility that it is the same bass that Roger Waters used in the early days of Pink Floyd.

I generally don't try to covet thy neighbors bass, but a 4002 would be sweet...any would do. I think those are almost as rare as the Lemmy's (which frankly don't do it for me). Image

Ed,

She's up and running...

Still a b**ch to play though with that headstock angle/high action. I now know why I left it in the case for 15 years...

Back on topic, I think Ginger's 4002FL is very cool. I remember an old forumites 21 fretter with an original ebony neck as well...

Thanks for the vote on the CII Ted. If I ever decide to sell, you'll be the first I'll contact.

Ted's '63 4001; any of Graham's early 4000's or 4001's, but probably most of all -- Simon's Entwistle 4005. I liked it so much I bid on it at Sothebys (sorry, Simon).
