Hey John - This will be my first Rick fest, and I'm looking forward to bringing a few things. I'm just curious about security measures when it comes to gear & making sure none "walks out the back door" or "falls off a truck." How is gear going to be monitored?

Looking at the list of attendees, I know that all are honest and would never do anything like that. Not only that, if any of us did see ( there will be at least 43 eyes on hand) someone unknown try to do such a thing, he wouldn't live too long. We all look after each other here. Image

Not to mention, having seen pics of your Ricks... I think we'd all notice them moving! Image

I'm certainly not worried about any of the Forum members, but there may be the non-members who perhaps heard about the event from the peripheral. I'm just wondering how the check-in process is laid out since I haven't done one of these before. Does everybody sign in their gear with someone from POTR? Is there a security staff for the event?

Security? I nominate Crisman. Image

A sign-in system sounds good to me.

Your concerns are one of the reasons that Chris thought it best to pre-register for the event via the links at the top of this thread; we have on file the info that was given by each one of you that included a section to input what you are bringing to the Fest...

Of course, it is only as complete and detailed as the info we were given----so as a redundancy please write down a list of what instruments(with their serial numbers) you bring to present to us when you arrive.

Thanks for your help in advance!

"...Only two double bed room were booked. LOL!!!..."

Unfortunately, that was all we could get when the rooms were blocked.

I just called and made my reservations for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and they asked me whether I wanted a King or two Doubles.

We can plan on getting together for dinner and some beers Friday evening, Richard.

Hi All
My first post here.
I live about 1/2 hr away from Ricfest 07. Hope to make it. I'll bring my '77 MG 4001 - maybe my buddy Craig from work will bring his '67 FG 4005.
