Tomg- John and I would like to thank you for being uncomfortable with those Laredo necks....
I remember the first time you put them up for sale, I kept coming back and looking at the pics and thinking....those would make great project basses....and they are, mine should be done sometime in late summer/fall, not sure what John has in store.


I find the 4004 necks more comfortable than the '62 Precision I had. They're definitley close in width but there is something better about the Rick's neck.

Mark, I had project plans, but i'm having second thoughts. I really like the neck toaster in this bass, it sounds awesome. Might just stick another toaster at the bridge and be happy with it.

The Swami has a nice 1973 Fireglo 4000 for $1,895. Routed for a P pickup under the guard but easily restorable.
