What church do you play at Tony?

Ok, here is the first of a number of pictures. The time FLEW so fast, between playing at the two churches, showing each other our guitars, my jawing endlessly, getting to know each other....well, I'll just shut up and get them going.

The FIRST pic is my favorite. Check out Jdog rolling up his sleeves getting ready to rock! This was SO cool because he WAS going to play guitar, but our small band space was SO packed, they kept asking Jdog to move, all looked hopeless until our Praise Team leader asked if Jdog would rather play keyboard! He ended up wailing on that bad boy and the crowed LOVED IT!

The Catholic Church was St. Joseph's in Stuart and the Lutheran Church is Redeemer Lutheran in Sewell's Point.

The funny thing is, he ACTUALLY could have fit some more! It was amazing...

I'm STILL buzzing from this weekend. What a BLAST!

"Damn", looking at these pictures, I never realized my wife has so many damn doily's!

What a great time! My only complaint is it was too SHORT!!! Drove down after band practice Saturday midday. About the easiest 192 miles ever driven and... MY CAR MADE IT!!! So did the 4002, 4080, 360DCM, 360/12v64, 370/12SPC, 4003FL, 380L PZ, and '64 Fender Mustang. Not even a shut-down exit on Florida's Turnpike could keep me away! Arrived and met Tony's wonderful family and friends and proceeded with show and tell, as seen in the pics above. I got to see and play my first CS! Very cool. I also played his v63 which is totally awesome. I think I see one of those models in my future. Oh, and the Alembic. SWEET!!! Then we sat down to an amazing dinner courtesy Tony's lovely wife Janey. Oh and did I mention the animals? THey have 3 dogs, a cat, and 2 birds. They are better behaved than MOVIE animals! I've never ever been in a house with pets like this. No clawing at my leg (or worse!) and the birds were hilarious. One sings "Popeye the Sailor Man" nonstop, the other mimics cordless phones and people flawlessly. You'd really think it was a real person talking! Before we knew it, it was time for bed. A few hours sleep, then off to the first church to rock for Jesus. (I have to get ready for work now so I'll continue this post later.

She's a 1988. It has the SLIMMEST neck I've EVER seen on a RIC! According to Jeff Thomas' "Girth" thread, it apparently had the thinnest measurement of all who responded.

It has a fantastic sound and getting a full range of sounds isn't a problem. Jdog commented that it didn't even sound like your typical RIC! A little playing with the knobs, and that classic RIC sounds comes out. Without a doubt, its the most VERSATILE bass I own.

I use it almost every Sunday, it gets a lot of action.

Jdog was amazing. No matter what we played, he was right there and played some amazing LINES! He didn't even want to practice any of the songs beforehand! All the praise team members were asking him to move down here so he could play with us again!

Sweet! I would have guessed late '80's.

The top case in Jdog's car is now at my shop for a long-term project.

Thats a clue.

Incidentally, I held a mini mini mini mini mini confluence at my house last night. The Mill Valley Favela Rickenbacker Society.

I played my 360/12 WB and my '60 Capri.

Currently, I am the only member.

I guess that would be all or nothing.

Sounds like a whole lot of fun! I kinda envy you, guys... nah, skip that - i'm very glad it went so well!
