Hi Elys. Yes, I've been reading about your 4001 purchase. Heavy duty indeed!!

Remember, yours is vintage and I assume hard to find and very desirable. Mine in comparison is not exactly 'common or garden' but I would think still quite 'findable'.

I must admit that I was very surprised when I won the 350v63 on ebay. I have a feeling I may have been the only bidder, so it either slipped under everybody's radar or they just weren't interested (or financially able) at the time.

It's a brilliant little guitar and has become my main Rick 'player'. Image

What a stunning looking 330 Aitch. The gold TRC and guards look great.

Your 350 is magic. It's a very nice guitar to play. I love it.

I can't disagree with any of the above, Brian. I still haven't played the 330..... been busy just looking at it and playing other gear.

I pulled out the Les Paul double cutaway this morning to see if I could find a suitable sound through the Peavey for 'White Room'. I'd forgotten what a great little guitar it is and got sidetracked to the point where the 330 wasn't played and I was late for work!! Image

Aitch, that gorgeous 350v63 was just Meant To Be for you, mate! I have a theory that one's Heart's Desire just comes to you, and everyone else just Helps when the time is right. Congratulations for such an incredible buy! Image Image

Thanks, Elys. It's one of those guitars that makes you smile every time you put it on a stand and look at it and I'm very proud to be the owner. I gets some pretty nice comments when it goes out, too!

Good grief, those are incredible! That 330 knocks me out. I just wish I'd been into these Forums back when they were being offered. Dang, those are beauties, Aitch!

Thanks again, all! Image

When I first saw Montezuma Brown last year I pretty much fell in love with it. Looks great with both white and gold accoutrements and if it's a good 'burst' IMO it rivals Fender 2 colour bursts for visual impact. Fellow forumite Ron Viney came over for a 'viewing' today and was suitably impressed with the 330. The grain on the fingerboard is something to behold and the gold guards and TRC set it off magnificently. I have a set of oven knobs coming from the States, so I'm looking forward to seeing how they add (or detract) from the appearance. Another great thing about this particular 330 is that it has a wonderful neck profile - dare I say it, very 'Stratish'!

They are still around, Jerry, so if you're keen.... go for it!!

John: Amen indeed, and BTW, your 'ex' Candy Tangerine AM DLX Strat continues to get great reviews. The coach of the band I'm in commented last Sunday.... 'that is one beautiful, beautiful guitar, Howard!'

Made me beam and think of you, my friend! Image

Aitch, the fretboard grain on your 330 is one of the best I've seen...

It sure is, Paul. I've tried to take closeups of it with no success to date. After 2 years it must be time to finally read the camera instruction manual! Image

That's tantamount to sacrilege Aitch,

Did you read the manual when you put the "barbie" together? I know I did'nt. But I never did find out what all those "extra" screws were for. Image

Can't wait to see them both together "live" Aitch!
Brian... be very careful wheeling that barbie around next time! Nobody supplies extra screws anymore!!
