Uh Robj, I guess I left that out. I believe the Laredo now comes in bubinga also!

If that's the case it almost seems silly to have two entirely different model names for basses that differ only in their hardware finish?

Perhaps there are other not so obvious differences. Perhaps not.

Robert, check this site out - you can compare the specs.

The difference being the 4004L says hard wood and the Cii says charactered maple and walnut. But as I stated before, I recall JH stating that the wood was the same!
