I Heard that Rickenbacker has now determined that we are violating their trademark by posting pictures of their instruments on the web ... we will be required to destroy all images of their trademarked designs ... and all traffic in replacement parts is herewith prohibited ... the next step is we may be restricted from mentioning words like Rickenbacker and horseshoe on the internet ...

By the way Jeff, I see one of your 4-2-5's is on the bay. Strange he doesn't mention that it's a conversion, just that it's "custom". Is that the person you sold it to?

I would think that getting a black-out TRC would be the easiest part. Just send yours back to RIC, and order the one of your choice.

yes they do ... all 4004 basses come with a black trc ...

RIC definitely has black TRC's with chrome lettering. I don't know about black with white lettering.
