A different thought occured to me watching that video again - 3 rare basses. 4005WB, a BG lefty, and a lefty played righty with a real fancy paint job.

Only seen at MARF!

The "BG lefty" is really John's 4001PMC.

To me it looks like a lefty 4001V63, but IIRC John called it a PMC:

It is in essence a V63, but the warranty card has it's designation as '4001LHV63PMC'...it is due to the traditional left-handed construction, ala McCartney's original 4001-S.

Well, I guess you could call a 4001C64 a 'PMC-plus', LOL.

But as far as the 'real' PMC run, I believe they were only left-handed...and I believe all of them are '99 model year production too.

I wondered what year they came out.

Image ....I seem to always get in on these threads late.... Image

Did Teeders buy this 67 from Scott already or what?

I did like Three Dog Night back in the early 70s, ahh high school days! Image Put in a 3DN 8-track in to the Tenna, park at The Point with that night's date, and hide your heart away.....
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!

Like it, want it...but probably not enough to win an Ebay slug-fest!
