A different thought occured to me watching that video again - 3 rare basses. 4005WB, a BG lefty, and a lefty played righty with a real fancy paint job.

Only seen at MARF!
The "BG lefty" is really John's 4001PMC.

To me it looks like a lefty 4001V63, but IIRC John called it a PMC:

It is in essence a V63, but the warranty card has it's designation as '4001LHV63PMC'...it is due to the traditional left-handed construction, ala McCartney's original 4001-S.

Hey John,
Did they make those PMC's in righty?

Well, I guess you could call a 4001C64 a 'PMC-plus', LOL.
But as far as the 'real' PMC run, I believe they were only left-handed...and I believe all of them are '99 model year production too.

I wondered what year they came out.

....I seem to always get in on these threads late....
Did Teeders buy this 67 from Scott already or what?
I did like Three Dog Night back in the early 70s, ahh high school days!

Put in a 3DN 8-track in to the Tenna, park at The Point with that night's date, and hide your heart away.....

Like it, want it...but probably not enough to win an Ebay slug-fest!
