Are you out there Brian? Can you send me some of your heavy duty selection picks by express post for this Saturday. There's a nice little 350v63 I got my eyes on plus a few other beauties that will be on display at the jam. Can this be arranged? Image

Hello Ron,

I am around now. I just got in the door from a business trip. Yes, no problem with the picks. By my reckoning you will likely need at least 30 of 'em. Image That Tangerine Strat is reserved though. Image

Hey Alisha looks like you are having heaps and heaps of fun. Don't completely wear them out over there. They have to keep some in reserve for when my wife and I get there. Image

Nice 350v63, Aitch! I saw a lefty 350/12v63 MID at a local shop, and it was a knockout, so I know yours is!

Great pics!

Can't wait until tomorrows Rick jam with Alisha! I'll get practicing on the set list tonight. Finally I can show off my first Ric too Image

It will be great to see everyone again tomorrow, as well as Alisha and any other new faces.

Peter, it was last year (IIRC) at Jim's Music in Irvine (a Rickenbacker dealer). It was a new one, regular store stock. It was on the wall for a month or so and then it was gone, apparently sold. It was so beautiful that even I as a righty came close to buying it!

Dear diary...........

We started the day with a quiet morning - Alisha punched out some much needed ZZZZZ's while I went shopping and had my car cleaned. Then we sat outside on my back patio for a while and chatted while soaking up the beautiful autumn sun. Next, off to a nice little local cafe bar where we had a lovely al fresco lunch.

Then off to Daimler Chrysler to pick up the 'freebie' Mercedes-Benz CLK350 Cabriolet for the weekend:

We then had a leisurely drive down to Phillip Island to see the Penguin Parade at dusk but not before we stopped off in San Remo for some liquid refreshment at the pub. This is Alisha on the San Remo foreshore with the bridge to Phillip Island in the background:

And another pic of the Benz!!

Image

Hope you don't mind all the pics of the car but it's not every day you get to drive a $150,000 motor vehicle around for 3 days for the cost of a tank of gas!!

The confluence 'big jam' and dinner are tomorrow's big events and we can't wait!!

Until then................. Image

Aitch, you rented the model that has the 'auto-drive' option, no hands on the wheel, 'eh? Image

Lookin' good you guys.

At first glance, I thought Alisha was driving. Then I remembered right-handed steering down under.

BTW, if I was riding around in a car like that, I think I would have rolled down the windows. Image

Gary, I don't remember anybody mentioning a lefty 350/12v63, otherwise..... Image

Richard, I realize now that I should have posted a note in the For Sale section. Believe me, next time I see a LH for sale, I'll do that!
