Hmmm...where's that horse picture when you really need it?

It would probably sell, because it would be a Limited Edition of 1.

Forget the old "tuna boat" design. Make the new 4005 neck thru with hollow wings. May not be 100% spec internally but would look correct and sound awesome.

FWIW, hollow basses are making a comeback with neo garage rock.

it would be very easy to build a 4005 with a bolt on neck ... hmmm ... a 4005 with 5 strings ...

I'd have to have an Autumn Glo, dot neck, with checkerboard binding. A bolt on neck would be OK. It's OK to dream right?

I'd hate to rain on anyones parade, but I wouldn't buy a 4005 even if it were priced less than a 4003. On the other hand I would go for a 4001 c64 or v63 with the proper headstock orientation. (right-side up)

There are plenty of nice v63's out there waiting for you, John.

Sign me up!!!!
I would LOVE to have the opportunity to buy a 4005 without selling all my other gear to finance it!
BYW nykickazz1, just where are those v63's anyway?

Ho yeah almost forgot...
Mapleglo w/ walnut wings, carved front, check back binding, and full length crushed pearl inlays.
Neck thru would be fine and prolly easier to build. Period-correct in looks only with modern mfg and technology would be just fine.
