Now you're talking! Thanks, Peter and Elys.
Well, Chris, if you happen to be lurking right now, all I can say is "Welcome aboard!". I've always been a fan (since 1971), and it is largely thanks to you that I turned on to Rickenbacker basses many years ago. And, I have not yet given up hope that one day your main Rickenbacker bass will have one of my pickup sets on it! (They call me "the pickup guru" around here, you know?) All the best, Chris.Image

Uh, okay, but I'd probably throw that up! A ROOTBEER would be fine, however! Image

LoL,

You know, the first time I had one of those beers, I thought it was SPOILED.

My wife brought home two cases of beer and made me (I think it was called a Brown & Brown), a Bass Ale and a Guinness mixed together.......I thought I was gonna die..... Image
I said "Oh my god, it is SO bitter, it MUST be spoiled".

I can't help it, gimme a Coors Banquet or an Olympia, that is just fine for me!

Jeff:

Ever have a Dr. Brown's Rootbeer? Just had one last night, it was amazing!

Sure! Their cream soda good, too.

While in Winchester for MARF I, Shari and I went into 'Old Town" and had dinner at a restaurant there, which had this great bottled root beer. I can't recall the brand. Image

Welcome, Chris! Receiving Fragile for Christmas back in the early 70s was a turning point in my life. I can't thank you enough for the happiness your music and playing has brought to me over the years.

Hey Peter &/or Elys - just backing up to a technical question: Being a bit of a link-head myself, I was wondering how you found the posting ID for this link:

Look to the left, above your username (or anyone else's username) You will see four up or down arrows. The fifth icon is the place to right-click and copy a link location for that particular post. Paste it into anywhere you want, it will become a clickable HTML link.

In this fashion you can send anyone to a particular post within a thread. Or, right-click on the link at the top of the thread to send someone to the beginning of the thread itself.
