I work at a fender dealer and our road rep brought one in for us to try out and I loved it. It's got a tune-o-matic instead of the standard jazzmaster bridge and the finish looks incredible in person. Also, at about $800-$900 street price, it's not as salty as the american reissues (of which I own one and also love). I believe they are japanese made. I was very impressed. If I hadn't bought the american reissue last year I would definitely get one myself.
