Experience with tendonitis?

By the way, as far as my original question, my pains started after a camping trip a few weeks ago and didn't seem related to playing but I wasn't sure. I used ice and Aleve over the weekend, and played a lot, and am not feeling any pain at all now that is directly attributed to playing. I do feel the pain when picking up heavy items with my left hand, pinching my thumb and fingers together.

So luckily it seems like a different injury that does get a little aggravated when playing the bass, but the playing does not seem like the root cause.
