Aside from giving Bullitt a ride to the Thunderbolt Motel in San Mateo, Jacqueline Bisset's character ("Cathy"...although I'm hardpressed to remember her name actually being said) served no real purpose in the movie, in my opinion... other than to "pretty up" the screen.
But, man! Did she ever do a good job of that. What an attractive woman!
