People and instruments keep coming! You can't turn around in there. I got to meet Mike G. He and Bob Young and I are kindred spirits, in our love of "old school"!! I know there are a few more on the forum. Bob Scott would be one.
Good times!

I am living proof that hard work, determination and sacrifice will result in rich rewards to oneself in this life, because I won the Midnight Blue 620/12.
It actually had two winners, the first winner decided quite magnanimously to refuse it and put it back into raffle play; mine was the next name drawn.
The person who refused to accept it and turned it back in for the re-raffle?
Paul W.
My thanks to Gary and Joey and everyone else who had a hand in organizing the event and to RIC and the Halls who donated the guitar. It was a very memorable moment when I heard my name called, that's for sure. More than one person took some photos; I'm sure they'll post them in this thread soon.
Side note: I went to the RIC site to get a link to email to my GF so she could see what I won; the guitar that was posted on the front page when I loaded it?
A Midnight Blue 620/12.

Thanks.
Now I need to come up with a good nickname for it. "SnotGlo" and "BronzeGlo Abomination" are already taken.

Paul W declined the guitar, but ended up winning the memory book in another raffle. What goes around comes around.
