I'd heard the song before, but the visualization on YouTube (replete with various Lucys) was great! Fun stuff.

Star Trek is one of the most famous TV shows here in the US, there were about 5 or 6 movies also and various new "Star Treks". I love all the original Star Trek stuff, there are even clubs and many people collect Star Trek things, have meetings etc. Shatner is famous for having a giant sized ego which of course blinds you to the truth, you only listen to your sycophants. How else can we explain his "recording" career? That album has always been a big joke although there are not many people who have actually heard anything from it, me included. That version of the great Dylan tune he butchered is as bombastic as his personality is.
He was a great Captain Kirk however.
