If I had a bag of $5.00 cables, I'd need a backup too. There's no way this stuff is as good as Mogami or Cannare G6.I'll bet this stuff has more resistance than an .0047 capacitor!

It was like going from a 70s color CRT to High Definition television when I switched to George L's.

The amp and guitar tone controls / EQ make it easy to roll off the high end if it's too bright -but they absolutely CANNOT give a dark sounding input signal sparkle if it's not there to begin with.

For my stage rig I've recently switched to Mogami between my guitar and effects strictly for its superior flexibility. Everything else remains George L's.

+1 on the George L's. I think they are the best sounding for the price.
They have a great effects package that comes with a bunch of 1/4" plugs and a roll of cable so you can easily make up custom cables for your pedal board that sound great. The best part: No soldering required.
