Go Tribe!

I was very happy to see the Yankees get put away by the Indians. It will be interesting to see if the Indians will be able to get by Beckett and Schilling.

I think Steinbrenner is the worst thing to happen to the Yankees, and he is probably the biggest laughingstock in MLB right now. He's got *zero* class, and continues to sign players that are past thier prime, for too much money (and some of them are from Boston). But alas, none of it matters now, at least as far as the game itself is concerned this year. But my guess is he will find some way to keep the attention focused on himself using the histrionics that the press seems to be so addicted to. Joe Torre deserves better treatment than this.

That was some welcome to Boston....we got spanked! Our ace just wasn't on the top of his game yesterday. Hopefully we can even it up tonight.

We're (D-backs) having problems with the Rockies. Can't score on those buzzards. They have good pitching and we can't take advantage of men left on base. Took care of those Cub Clowns - ha! ha!

Whew.......1-1.

It may not matter 'cause I think neither the Tribe of the Sox is a match for the Rockies.

Holy Smoke, I couldn't stay up for all of it... but wow, 13-6.

I alot of people thought the Sox had too much for the Indians. Not so.

This is developing into a great series. I think we're looking a seven games here with a few more into extra frames, as well. Tribe is good... I'm hoping the Sox are better and that the Rockies cool off!!

Last night's game was fantastic. I can't wait for tonight. Tonight's game should be really intersesting wrt to the pitching. Byrd is excellent no matter who he's pitching for(he pitched for my Angles for a season or two), and Wakefield's knuckle ball is just crazy-it travels at such a slow speed relative to other types of pitches that it almost appears to be hovering. the next game should be quite interesting as well, as one wonders how the Indians will do against Beckett the second time around. Boston is not my team, but I've been an admirer of Beckett's since he played for the Marlins.

Just one more little win to go.......
