Any chance that the photos, now removed, of this "little 325 family" could be put back up? We 'newbies' still like to look and learn, even if we are a little late to the gate. Thank you. Oh, by the way, do you think a 325C58 JG, 325C64 JG and 325V59 MG is too many? Wondering if the V59 should move on as it's not really what JL played, though it's a beauty MG. Or do they have more value staying as a three-some?

Peter, the JG c58 was a sentimental favorite, as it was the first 325 I bought. But the best player was the MG with the Bigsby. I actually picked that one up off a tip from Jake here on RRF--it was sitting on the 'bay with a really low BIN. Thought I'd buy it and flip it.

When I got it, it had a B-50 instead of a B-5 on it, and some strange not-too-good Burns knob imitations. I went ahead and put B-5 on it, and decided to add the Hofner knobs (not Beatle spec, LOL) because I thought they looked great on the guitar. It only took me about two and a half years to decide to finally "flip" it, .

It had a really sweet neck--it was an '03 model, and definitely had a heftier neck than the '05 JG c58. If I could bring any of them back, that would be the one.

PS: Emily, thanks for the compliment on the cushion! My MIL gave us two of them--not sure what they're called, they're from Thailand (my MIL is from Bangkok). They kinda fold out on the floor into a little sitting pad--they're actually pretty comfortable!

I have a deep sigh whenever I see a natural C58. I love my 320 and it's not going anywhere, but it was a compromise purchase because I couldn't talk anyone low enough on the one I really wanted.

Bill - just curious; How did the 1996 fare in the mix?

My only real criticism of the 1996 was the finish Robert, which was *nothing* like the NAMM model I'd seen and based my ordering decision on. The finish on mine was *very* orange, as opposed to the nice aged-tinted FG appearance of the demos (and actually, the more recent finishes on the 1996 models, which I think is very nicely done).

I know it's a superficial issue (and to be fair, I've met more than a few folks who prefer the more-orange finish), but it did affect the appeal of the guitar for me.

Playing wise, the guitar was almost identical to the 325c64, though with a flatter board radius IIRC.
