Thanks for biting you tongue, Tony!

well, the payment is in the mail - so i can confidently say i landed the 4002.

thanks to Greg for working this out with me and sticking to his plan of 'first contact, first chance'.

and thanks to Tony for being my confident through the process of getting this all sorted from the Northern side of the border.

i hope to have the bass sent to Dale as he and Greg had discussed to preform the needed minor cosmetic work.

can't begin to tell you how much i look forward to getting my hands on this one!

Thanks Kevin...

Way to go Bryce!!!!!

I am happy to see that the 4002 is staying in the family.

Since I was number four in line, it was not in the cards for me.

It sure was great to talk to Greg about the bass on the phone. I discovered a lot of small nuances between the very early 4002’s and the ones made in the 1980’s.

One very cool thing that Greg did was to stick to his asking price. Never once did he hint that more money would sway him with whom he would deal with. It was first come first serve, (which is how I like to sell). This easily could of turned into a stupid bidding war.

Joey, I hope you can snag the BB. I'll probably be in the market for another one since mine is quickly becoming a YB (yellow boy.)

Bryce, congrats! I was #2 -- and it's probably better for me that you got it, because I would have had to make a couple tough decisions to make it work (and I would have made it work).

Thanks Erik, only it's a Blueburst, not Blueboy I'm hoping for. :)

Congrats on snagging the 4002 Bryce! Sounds like we'll need to have another TO mini-confluence when you arrive, (here's Dave and I last spring).
