Paul,
I'm happy that you finished the top in MG. The rest of the guitar is just beautiful too. I don't know if it gets any better than this!

It is so hard to describe your work. The time, the precision to detail, the care and the obvious love you have for your work, and for Rick guitars. Each project surpasses the previous. Amazing.
You mentioned the action being low. How low? Just out of curiousity. Less than 3/32 on the low E at the 12th fret?

It's gorgeous Paul. We knew it would be - we just didn't know how gorgeous and you've outdone yourself. Just picking it up would scare the living **** out of me.

Paul, my mom read this thread and said, "Why didn't you have your's (referring to my 730S) finished like that?"

Awesome work as usual, Paul! Each part of that guitar looks so nice. I love the checkered binding on all the parts and that burst blend is beautiful!

This unique guitar is one of the most stunning pieces of craftmanship I have ever seen. And your photos rise to the occasion in presenting it. I enjoyed reading your explanation of the process of putting it together. A neck made from a laminate of maple and a 200 year old piece of gunstock walnut found in a barn in southern Indiana!
Find another! No way!
It's all been said above - wow, unbelievable, you raised the bar. Great work, Paul.

Paul,
I am wondering where in Southern Indiana you found the wood for the neck? Since I live here, is there anything else you want me to be on the look-out for?
