If I were sleeping in that room, I'd be afraid that I would wake up in the middle of the night, stumble, and knock something over.

BTW, I'm yet another that is proud to be able to call Darren & Robyn friends. :D

Darren: Has Graham told you about his problems with sleepwalking and midnight fits of frenzy? I'd be locking the Ricks away during his stay........ and Robyn!!

Darren, It seemed that one moment you were saying "Hello Tammy" and all to soon it was time for the "Can't wait to see you again". As for that room of yours.. I am sure I know one formite who would be grinning ear to ear to get the chance to sleep in there! As for Graham.. keep his liquid diet to a minimum before he lays his head down... and good luck with that one. I know you must be getting excited about the tour. Please do not forget to post.. I think I speak for all of us when I say we want pictures, youtube links, minute by minute... (day by day if we have to settle).
there seems to be a guitar show in Franston in March is that far from you? It is during my spring break. I tried to talk Steve into going but he mutttered something about money and that was the end of that... Darn I was hoping for another trip..
Dave and Lisa I know you will have a great time. What can we say... enjoy every moment and dont eat the salmon pate.

Well, I got two more Ricks this week so I figure the count as a family now:

Image

The right rear one is my latest: a 340VBVP BG ('02 COY). A perfect storm of cool features, all coincidentally NLA. The 660/12 MID also just arrived.

Also visible in the picture on top of one of the cases in the background is my homemade "Chuck-O-Sound" box!

Here's my current lineup minus my 481 that is still undergoing a new paint job.

And some non-Ricks just for good measure. I sorta like black. Please forgive me for the quality of the photos. The room is a bit of a cave and doesn't see a lot of light.

Wow! What a great collection, Brett! You've got many of the "signature" models. Beautiful!

I am quietly getting a bit of a collection together. I recently acquired the 360CW from a forum member and it is a stunning guitar. My first hollow body Rickenbacker.

If anyone is interested, I want to trade the 4003MB and 4003S/5.

Wow, some great stuff here. Darren, your collection is beautiful. I'm rather intrigued by the fact that in a few months my Ric bass collection will strangely mirror yours, with the notable exception of the cheap copy on the left  (yes, I do know what it is!!!!). Seriously, my 72 Fglo is very similar but with walnut wings, my 73 will (hopefully) look almost exactly the same as your Azure, my 73 4000 is almost the same but with a black&white ply scratchplate, and my other bass is a CS. Weird. You've got great taste in basses! Now if only I could get hold of one of those other babies.....and is that a sonic blue P-Bass I see in the corner? I want one of those too! You're a lucky man; even luckier in that you are actually allowed to have a room full of them. I'm wincing at the thought of the reaction in my house...

Bob, is that a turquoise 4001 in the middle of your picture or is it just a greenish-tinged azure?

Here's my modest collection of leftys. Missing from the shot is a lefty Gibson Flatrion mandolin and a right-handed MIM Strat.
