Would the old fireglo finish/color be reinstated? I think it changed in mid 2006.RIC_FACTORY wrote:Air quality standards will soon not be a barrier as we have recently acquired certain "options" in our facility...

I have been told at my local decorators Trade Centre that around 2010 oil products will be phased out due to the high VOCs( Volatile Organic Compounds)More and more Water Bourne products are on the market and surprisingly they are quality products that outlast oil products by far.In the West of Scotland were i live it rains 80% of the time and exterior paint products have to last and 10 years ago i would never have said that a Water based product would outclass oil.Well its not the first time ive been wrong!admin wrote:Curmudge: I'm up for adoption. Eric, so glad to see you here again! Great news. I posted a thread not too long ago about a new FG at a dealer and how the color and burst were just phenomenal with kudos to you and the shooters. Drop dead gorgeous! This from a guy that would never have considered FG when looking for my first Rick in early 2005. Now an FGFL....eric_b wrote:clearblue wrote:

If you like the old ones, then I'm betting you'll like the most recent ones as well. It wasn't the color so much as it was the applicator. That issue has been rectified.
Do you guys have any picture examples of what you mean? I thought that Fireglo always varied due to the "human" input.eric_b wrote:

Even if Ricks were painted by robots (they are not), humans would be doing the ol' programming!godber wrote:Do you guys have any picture examples of what you mean? I thought that Fireglo always varied due to the "human" input.eric_b wrote:

I sure do like the most recent ones. My newest 350v63 is an '08 fireglo. (I have an '08 350v63 Mid as well)eric_b wrote:clearblue wrote:
