I freaked out every time I played mine (the aforementioned 330). I was just too cognizant of it being a special guitar. I couldn't get comfortable with it.

I got my 360 DCM from Mike Parks.
I called him and asked to be put on a list to get one.....so he started a list....
I still have it. I use it only for recording nice quiet parts.
Sooner or later I will use it to help with a down payment on an apartment.....oh well...

No No No No No........
Strap it on, turn everything up to full blast, and then thrash the living daylights out of it.
That's what they're made for and your Ric will love you for it.
I'm thinking of starting a society for depressed guitars that are locked away and never played. There should be some sort of law against it.

Mine just sold, so although it's still in my home at the moment, I guess I no longer "have" it, LOL!
A big thank you to the Forumite who just took it!

Congrats Mel! Too bad it didn't work out.
I still have my 660/6 DCM as well, but it is also up for sale as I just don't play it much. I have a 660 FG that's my favorite.
Best,
Tim

Boy, I feel dumb. What does DCM stand for?

Dark Cherry Metallic. It's the special color of the 75th Anniversary guitars.

Oh, thanks for enlightening me. I figured it had something to do with the anniversary. Very cool, no doubt.

Here you go.
I don't think the picture does the colour justice really.

Hear hear Mateybob! My first show with the DCM 330 was at one of those semi-outdoor places in Florida and it instantly got drenched in sweat. A few more years of this and it will be right. I feel certain it already plays and sounds slightly better!

Here is an unopened 330 DCM from what the dealer says. Or, it is an expensive cardboard box.

Rickenbacker 75th Anniversary 330. It is sealed in the original box, I don't know if we are going to open it for pictures yet, let's see, some- body may prefer it un-opened.
