Still something not right. Why can't they just say who the letter is from? Maybe at least try and explain why someone who wouldn't and/or shouldn't need the money sell one of his favorite basses.
To buy one of Chris Squires favorite basses, I would think would cost more than 15k, especially when the bass by itself is worth at least half of that or more.
