A while ago in one of the So Cal '08 threads I predicted an earthquake happening in Aitch's honor. OOPS!!!

Quake hit us 35 minutes before the end of today's summer school session three miles west of downtown Los Angeles. Kids reacted beautifully --- drop (to the floor), cover (go under the desk), hold (onto the vertical leg of desk). Can't say the same for administration following prescribed procedures. I know, I know.......tell me something I don't already know! It was more of a rolling motion rather than a jolting one. The incident lasted ten seconds, maybe twelve. Late.......Goofyfoot.

Good one Charly!Gary-I vote with you on keeping guitars in their cases. Ever since the Whittier Narrows qualke mine remain in the case unless they're being played: I had all of my guitars in their stands, save for the one I was playing, when the quake hit. As the house shook, I tried to decide which guitars, and how many of them, I could carry down the stairs and out of the house.

Graham and Aitch in the same State and that's a predictable result in my mind and to think I almost had both of them coming up here for a visit under the same roof and at the same time. It would seem that I have narrowly missed a potential disaster of gigantic proportions.
