The trouble with cycling in London is when you park the bike and it gets nicked.... ask Boris Johnson MP!

The golden rule is dont lean on the front door of the bus at the lights like this nutcase did on my bus outside the BBC in Manchester...I opened the doors and let him in much to the amusement of the passengers. I always wondered why cyclists wore helmets, its so you dont hurt your head on the grab rail in the doorway of a double decker bus.

To me it seems like you are stuck in a groove and maybe need some help getting out of it.

Expressing one's opinion is fine until it offends.

We have never made it a secret on this forum that we are pro-Rickenbacker. This has been, is and will continue to be the cornerstone of this Forum.

I invite those who are persistently critical of the RIC product, to the extent that it causes others grief, to express themselves on another forum.

The times they are a changing.

THANK YOU PETER.

THANK YOU PETER.

THANK YOU PETER.

If I want to hear about RIC"s "flaws", I'll go to another forum to read about it.

ENOUGH, can we move on please? The reason I came here to begin with was that it was a RIC FORUM! IMHO, it has changed greatly since I first joined.

The negative comments have hurt this forum enough. Members are leaving, the Hall Family RARELY comes around, even the factory workers don't post anymore.

Anyway....

THANK YOU PETER....again!

Bryce, you should have left them here, I could have sent you pictures during the Holidays!

This is meant to be constructive and is more just me thinking out loud. I like Jeff, but I've noticed a change that IMO started after he sold his '68 4001.
Could it be post-sale remorse that is rearing it's head in the form of putting down Ricks in an effort to justify the sale?

I know it would give me nightmares!

Hey Tony,

Speaking of sending Ricks somewhere:
Maybe you, Wints and Jdog should send your stuff up here before Ike pays a visit!
We don't get no stinkin' hurricanes!

We are experiencing the remnants of Gustov as I type. 2" of rain expected this evening/night. My lawn is most thankful.

Yeah, me too. Nothing is perfect, and I don't mind reading about problem areas or flaws, and appreciate learning about the solutions.

Agreed John. Understanding how to make our Rickenbackers the best they can be is an intriguing discussion and is of considerable merit. As we have said so many times before, it is the manner in which the discussion is carried out that makes all the difference.
