Dane, what would one do about that bridge in case it becomes necessary? I haven't planned to change anything with it until intonation or action become troublesome, but I'm curious as to how you would correct the bridge tilt situation.

Well....I'd get longer screws and drill the holes they sit in all the way through the tailpiece and about 1/4" into the body. No more tilt, which alters action and intonation. There's other things I do to these tailpieces to make them easily adjustable with the strings on from the front and not lift at the rear either.

That's cool. but I'm worried that if the bridge sits upright then the string length will decrease and the intonation will suffer. There's no more room for the saddles to move aft and compensate for that.
